Governing humans and ‘things’: power and rule in Norway during the Covid-19 pandemic

This text focuses on the mentalities and technologies of power employed by Norwegian government as it attempts to control Covid-19 pandemic. Utilizing governmentality studies a Foucauldian discourse analysis, I find life itself be given primacy within biopolitical problem space where seeks contain spread Covid-19. The primarily rationalizes its exercises in liberal manner while employing complex set coercive technologies, which channels towards both human population, serves an object administration, Covid-19, domination.
